Our Idiot Brother~

I simply loved this movie, because it's so heart-warming to see somebody as great as Ned in this world. He's so selfless, trustworthy and just pure awesome! He's a pacifist who lived on a farm, far away from the city life. Living on the farm, made Ned grow into an ignorant person, who can trust everyone around the farm. Leading to him selling weed to a police officer haha.
After serving some jail time, he gets kicked out of the farm, and is then forced to live with his mother. He switches to and from each of his 3 sister's apartments. Ignorant of normal people's lives, or city people's lives, Ned gets himself into a lot of trouble. Mainly due to his selfless and kind nature, he helps everyone out, but his big mouth (or his more innocent nature, because he is constantly used by everyone) seems to always get in the way of ending many of the situations nicely.
Simply put, everyone blamed him for all his doings, although it wasn't his fault, it was everyone taking him for granted. It was a very interesting trail of events, feeling sorry for Ned and how he was treated by everyone. He ends up blowing up on everyone, telling them to go F*** themselves because for weeks on end, they just wouldn't let up and continually harassed him and neglected him for being an idiot. Later, he ends up in jail again, and his sisters come to bail him out. He refused bail and his sister's wondered why. They said, "We took him for granted, his love in unconditional and he loves everyone equally no matter who they are."
That was so touching, because I feel I know this guy so well. I know how he acted, because I see a part of myself in this character. I feel cheated, but even knowing that, I still move on because it's just my nature. Just how I treat everyone. Being a pacifist, because I hate fighting but love caring and sharing with others. There was a lot of things from this movie, which I felt a connection to. I hate how people take me for granted, but then I'm too ignorant to actually see that.
I guess what I want in life, is someone who would just do the same for me. If people call me rare, like a few have already, then I'm going to have a hard time, aren't I?
