My bride of black and white~

She walks so beautifully down the aisle, holding onto the man who has always been there for her whole life. I sit here on the cold, old and wooden bench which has been a memorial for centuries and centuries of worship. As I gaze upon the beauty of her white wedding dress and it shines greater than than the gloomy, dark and somewhat dull background. All heads turn as they too examine and judge the bride. The bride of white, the bride whom they judge. Do they not realise this is not some beauty pageant, it's an affirmation of love under God? Well, who am I to judge anyway, I'm such a hypocrite. The reprise of the wedding music, mixed with the words of judgement coming from the minds of others fills my head. As she takes each step, I hear such dark words. Soon her white dress begins to slowly turn black from the bottom of her white heels, to the top of her headdress. This once so beautiful bride, has turned into the very being which judgement has created. She keeps walking to the alter, as her make up begins to slowly drip down her smooth and glistening skin. Almost as if she was crying. Is she hurting inside? She's still smiling though. Why can I hear these people, but I can't hear her? Her groom takes her hand, she smiles as she looks at him. I start to grind my teeth in anger. He's not smiling. Suddenly, all time stands still. My seat begins to dissolve into a dark stand. The walls and columns in the church dissolve. A pitch black follows and all I can see are the floating bodies of the people watching the bride as she falls to her knees begging. They sit on chairs of air, their clothes turn to black and meld within the darkness which creeps up upon the bride. I stand up, but fall through the darkness. As I fall deeper and deeper into the darkness, I reach my hand out to try and grab her, but I fell too fast. She's still on her knees begging, and pleading. She scuffles away from the darkness, as it begins to devour her feet, then legs, then thighs and then the rest. Her screams become distant. Where is the end of my fall? When will I hit the ground and crack all my bones? When will this darkness stop? I then hit water. It's still so dark as I try swimming out. I swim for almost 2 minutes, struggling to keep my breath from escaping my lungs. I frantically hit top speed and manage to hit the roof of the ocean of darkness. I scout around, turning my head in every direction, trying to find a source of light. I swim towards a random direction in hope that I'd find a safe point. Nothing. A spotlight flashes as it pinpoints to an object in the distance. I swim closer to it, but it flickers as I get closer and closer. It appears to be moving away from me, but I can only subtly make out what it is. Someone. Is it an angel? the light is so powerful, but dims as I get closer to it. Until suddenly, the light corrects it's large radius into the circumference of the person's body. I continue to swim and this time the light doesn't dim. It's on a small island, fit for that one person and a half. I get myself up on the tiny island and realise it's the bride, weeping and crying as her white wedding dress is stained with spots of black. I tap her on the shoulder and ask her if she's okay. "Here's a lullaby to close your eyes..." She says as she fades away before I could grab hold of her. I stand there, and look into the bright light. I use my hand to cover part of it, as it started to hurt my eyes from the brightness. Someone then tapped me on the shoulder and everything returned to normal. He asked me to take my seat as the ceremony was about to begin.
